Meg White has seemingly recovered from her acute anxiety and has joined Jack White in the studio to record some new material.
The duo have apparently produced several new songs for future release plus a new version of an oldie.
In a mail out to fans they said: “The White Stripes have just filmed an exciting new video and recorded three never before heard original songs (with a special collaboration) and one unique new version of a song from their latest album ‘Icky Thump’.”
The pair cancelled their touring duties for the rest of 2007 in September due to Meg’s illness and have yet to announce any rescheduled shows.
