Rufus Wainwright To Release Judy Garland Performance On DVD

Rufus Wainwright is to release his rendition of Judy Garland’s 1961 performance a Carnegie Hall on DVD and CD.

The two-disc CD, ‘Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall' and DVD, entitled, ‘Rufus! Rufus! Rufus! Does Judy! Judy! Judy! Live at the London Palladium,' will be available from December 3rd.

‘Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall' includes all 27 songs from Wainwright’s show at New York’s Carnegie Hall on June 14th last year while the DVD was recorded at the London Palladium on February 25th 2007.

The critically acclaimed performances saw Wainwright accompanied by a 36-piece orchestra.
