Kasabian will headline Scotland’s biggest hogmanay event in Edinburgh this year.
The band top the bill at Edinburgh's Concert in the Gardens with support coming from Scottish band Idlewild.
More than 100,000 are expected to attended the city’s infamous New Years Eve celebrations which will centre around the concert set in Princes Street Gardens.
Speaking about the forthcoming show, Kasabian frontman, Tom Meighan said: "It is an honour to be asked to play Hogmanay this year. Scotland is always a special place to play and New Year's Eve will be even more special. We promise."
As well as live music, crowds will also witness a spectacular fireworks display set over the city’s castle, reports the BBC.
Pete Irvine, director of Unique Events, the company responsible for the New Years spectacle, said: "Although we've altered the formula a bit from previous years, there's no question the Gardens will rock."
