Meat Loaf’s tour is set to resume in Birmingham later tonight (November 2nd), according to staff at the venue.

The singer has not performed since he walked off stage halfway through a performance in Newcastle on Wednesday (October 31st).

Reports that the singer told the audience that I would be his last show were denied by his management company who said the he was suffering from “exhaustion and stress.”

Staff at the NEC have told the BBC that the star is due to arrive at the venue at 4pm to sound check for tonight’s show.

"As far as we are concerned the show in Birmingham is on as planned," a spokesperson said.

Following tonight’s show, Meat Loaf is due to perform in Manchester (November 4th), London (November 6th), Nottingham (November 8th) and Cardiff (November 11th).

    • I was at the Newcastle show, Meatloaf was dreadful from the start (the band were great). The man is ill and he should never have come on stage. Fans and parents who had brought their children to see Meatloaf were conned out of their money. Whats the matter isn’t he rich enough enough to say enough is enough. He left a bitter legacy of fans in Newcastle whos hard earned money he took and screwed. I love his music, but this was a sham. And for the record he did say it was his last concert.

    • maybe so but have you thought that he is just going through a bad patch at the moment, kind of like when he had voicebox troubles during the recording of dead ringer for love
