Atlanta quartet The Black Lips are set to continue their roll in 2007 by becoming movie stars.
They will take up the roles of a fictional band called the Renagades in a new film entitled ‘Let It Be’.
The filmed is being funded by the bands label Vice alongside Springboard Films and will produced by Andrew Meyer (The Breakfast Club/Fried Green Tomatoes) and Winn Coslick.
According to the Movies website it is “the story of the movement in underground American music that was known as D.I.Y."
