Razorlight Frontman Johnny Borrell has revealed that he is to make is acting debut in a major new film.
Borrell will star alongside Pride And Prejudice actor Colin Firth and Full Monty star Robert Carlyle in the British film, ‘The Meat Trade.’
Speaking about his role in the film, Borrell told Billboard: "I play the boyfriend of the leading lady, who I'm not sure they've actually cast or not. We're filming around Christmas time, or just after. I expect it will be quite fun."
The Antonia Bird directed film is understood to be a thriller set in present day Edinburgh.
'The Meat Trade' is due for release in 2008.
