Howard Donald was forced to pull out of Take That's concert in Vienna last night after being admitted to hospital with a suspected collapsed lung.
According to a statement from the reformed boy band, Howard had been injured whilst performing the European leg of their current tour - although no details of how it was sustained were given.
Donald added, "I’m really disappointed and upset that this has happened, as I’ve never had to miss a show before, it’s unbelievably frustrating being sat in a hospital when I should be on stage with the guys.”
The remaining three members of the group went ahead with a show in Vienna without Donald.
Whilst the rest of the band - Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Jason Orange - vowed, "Our friend’s health is of the utmost priority and we wish him a speedy recovery, we’ll make sure tonight’s show is still a fantastic experience for the fans.”
Maybe they should have asked whether a certain Mr Williams wanted to hop onto his private jet and fill in?

I really understand what he must be going through, but i didn’t think you could have a collapsed lung from doing the splits. I had a collapsed lung myself in March this year it’s very painful and takes time to get over. Take care Howard, from Womble
