Arctic Monkey Alex Turner's collaborator Miles Kane has been speaking about their new album together, calling it "big and epic".
As previously reported here, Turner and the former Little Flames guitarist recorded the whole album in a two week stint in France with Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford producing.
Kane, who now plays with The Rascals, says the results are influenced by off-kilter pop legend Scott Walker.
He tells XFM, "We did it in two weeks in France in this field in the middle of nowhere. We didn't see anyone else for the whole time so we went a bit delerious.
"Some of it is quite full on, but it's a bit more big and epic. It is very Scott Walker-esque, but with our own little twist on it."
You can hear the results for yourselves next year.
