Editors Get Fired Up For Gigs By Phil Collins

Editors have revealed that they listen to Phil Collins to get them fired up for a big gig.

Bassist Russell Leech unveiled the embarrassing secret on the eve of their appearance at KOKO for made the for the BBC Electric Proms tonight.

He said: “We bring the mighty Phil Collins out before a big show. Our favourite track for getting us in the mood is ‘Sussudio.’

Leech also revealed that frontman Tom Smith has been struck with a bout of the dreaded lurgy and is battling to get 100% fit for tonight’s show.

He continued to The Star: “(Tom) came down with a stinking cold over the weekend and now we’re all starting to feel it.

“Tom’s doing everything he can to protect his voice. He’s taking lots of vitamin B and C supplements and drinking honey and lemon.”
