The Ian Curtis biopic ‘Control’ has landed ten nominations at this year’s British Independent Film Awards.
Documenting the turbulent life of the Joy Division frontman, the film’s nominations include Best Actor for Sam Riley and Best Director for Anton Corbijn, along with a nomination for Best Film.
The film has continued to win huge acclaim since it was given a general cinema release in London earlier this month because of its frank documentary of Curtis’ life.
The BIFA awards will be presented at a ceremony at the Roundhouse in London on November 28th.
