Hot Club de Paris are currently in Chicago recording their new album with famed producer Brian Deck.
The follow up to 2006’s ‘Drop It Til It Pop’s’ is set for release in 2008, the Liverpool trio have been working on new material for the last few months.
Deck has previously worked with the likes of Modest Mouse, Iron & Wine, Tortoise, Ugly Casanova and The Sea And Cake.
Guitarist Matthew Smith commented: “It’s not really a very difficult decision when presented with the choice of recording at home or going to record with a producer you really like, thousands of miles away.
“Unfortunately I lost the toss and we’re going to Chicago”.
