The Mars Volta have revealed details of their new album which features John Frusciante of Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The album features twelve tracks and was produced by Omar Rodriguez Lopez.
Ahead of the release the band will play a one off show at San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on New Years Eve where fancy dress is a requirement.
The track listing for the follow up to ‘Amputechture’ is:
Aberinkula
Metatron
Ilyena
Wax Simulacra
Goliath
