Five men have been arrested for the murder of African reggae superstar Lucky Dube who was shot dead last Thursday (October 18).
The men, who were captured on Sunday, will now appear in court on Tuesday according to a police spokesman in Johannesburg.
Two stolen handguns and a car that were allegedly used in the slaying were also recovered during the police operation.
Dube was believed to be the victim of a car jacking, which is rife in South Africa, and was shot in front of his two children.
The singer began his career in the 1980s and was renowned for his songs which questioned the apartheid regime and his tackling of other social hardships within South Africa.
