Gossip singer can't afford house...

The Gossip's Beth Ditto isn't moving to her adopted home of Britain anytime soon - because she's too poor.

The singer has been spending more and more time across the pond after being welcomed into Europe's warm busom, but she says she can't afford to set up home in the UK.

She explains, "Posh and Becks even moved because they were too poor to buy a house here.

"Do you know what the pound is compared to the dollar? No, way.'

"I don't have the money to buy a house or the sanity, geeze-louise!"

oh dear what a shame - think this may be the only positive to the high costs of houses at the moment!
