Rock royalty mixed with clothing designers, for the annual Fashion Rocks event at London’s Royal Albert Hall.
Hosted by Uma Therman and Samuel L Jackson, the fundraising event – where tickets cost up to a massive £350 – saw various eminent figures in the music industry performing their music to a clothing label’s ware.
Iggy Pop was there to represent Versace, while Lily Allen sang ‘LDN’ for Chanel. Bet Ditto thankfully didn’t strip as some might have feared when she performed ‘Yr Mangled Heart’ for Christopher Kane’s collection.
Former Moloko star Roisin Murphy did the honours for Gucci, hip-hop supremo Timbaland performed ‘The Way I Are’ for Dolce & Gobbana.
Dame Shirley Bassey performed the medley “Goldfinger-Wonderful-Hey Big Spender” for Marchesa, while the highly punchable Johnny Borrell (see abouve picture) and his Razorlight crew performed ‘In The Morning’ for Burberry.
The Sugababes, Joss Stone and The Pussycat Dolls’ Nicola Scherzinger represented the pop fraternity.
