Nas And Def Jam Clash Over New Album

Rapper Nas is reportedly embroiled in a feud with his record label Def Jam over his plans to release a new album this year.

The controversially entitled ‘****’ is supposedly set for release in December but the label say they have no plans to release it then.

Nas announced the plans for the album during a show at New York’s Roseland Ballroom on Friday night (October 12).

However, a source close to Def Jam’s CEO Antonio ‘LA’ Reid told Fox News: "There is no album release by Nas on the release schedule at this point.

"And they would be unlikely to release an album with that title. How would that look at Wal-Mart?"

A spokesperson for Def Jam has since confirmed to AllHipHop.com that the album will definitely be released under its controversial moniker.
