Like the musical realisation of a thousand young men’s idle thoughts - not to mention Woody Allen’s - this is an ode to the gorgeous 'Scarlett Johansson.' It’s pretty much perfect subject matter for The Teenagers, who come across as superficial as a quick browse through Heat Magazine. That’s not really a bad thing with their stylish, breezy electro pop, but although this is fun and has some great keyboard-led moments, it’s so light it’s not so much bubblegum pop as the air inside. The Teenagers want us to believe that they’re approaching this with one eyebrow sardonically cocked, but they might need to show a little more depth to convince anyone of that.
