The Spice Girls are on the verge of signing a multi-million pound sponsorship deal with the supermarket giant Tesco, according to reports.
The deal will see the supermarket sponsor the group’s forthcoming reunion tour in return for two pre-Christmas adverts starring all five members of the girl group.
According to the Guardian, each Spice will net £1 million each from the deal – which mirrors a deal that fellow 90’s pop group Take That recently signed with Marks and Spencer’s.
Images of Take That's Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange can currently be seen in almost of the retailer’s nationwide stores.
Interest in the Spice Girls has escalated since they announced that they were to reform earlier this year with tickets for their initial one-off show at the O2 Arena in London selling out in 38 seconds last month.
Since then, the group have gone on to add a number of new shows at the venue which run into the new year.
