Klaxons are planning on recording a cover of an infamous 80’s football anthem, according to reports.
The Mercury Music Prize winners want to record their own version of, ‘Diamond Lights' - which was originally recorded by Tottenham Hotspur football players Glen Hoddle and Chris Waddle in 1987.
According to the Sun, the band’s keyboard player James Righton is a ‘huge’ Tottenham fan and would like nothing more but to cover the song.
‘Diamond Lights’ reached number twelve in the UK Charts in 1987 and has consistently been voted one of the worst pop songs of all time.
