Weezer front man Rivers Cuomo is set to release a solo album of demos culled from the last fifteen years of his life.
Entitled ‘Alone – The Home Recordings Of River Cuomo’ the album is set fro release in the US via Geffen on December 11.
Posting via his myspace page Cuomo has revealed that the album was initially supposed to be released alongside his long muted book.
However, the book which currently sits at 400 pages will now not see the light of day for at least a year according to Cuomo.
Elsewhere in other Weezer news the band a currently recording a new album "in a large room that normally doesn't serve as a place where bands record their albums" according to their official site.
The album is expected to be released sometime in 2008.
