Sugababes have scored a chart double this week, topping both the singles and the album charts.
Their single ‘About You Now’ came in ahead of Ida Corr vs Fedde Le Grand’s ‘Let Me Think About It’ at two and a new entry from Mark Ronson featuring Amy Winehouse with the Zutons cover ‘Valerie’ at three.
Thankfully Big Brother twins Sam and Amanda (Samanda) only managed to chart at 26 with their Aqua cover ‘Barbie Girl.’
Other new entries of note came courtesy of Biffy Clyro (at 29 with ‘Machines’), Roisin Murphy’s ‘Let Me Know’ at 28 and Mika’s ‘Happy Ending’ at 16.
In the albums Sugababes beat Eric Clapton’s ‘Complete’ to number one, while Jack Penate debuted at seven with ‘Matinee.’
