Metallica have confirmed they are still deep in the recording process for their ninth studio album.
According to a post on the band’s website the band’s recording process – famously captured in big screen documentary 'Some Kind Of Monster' – is running smoothly.
They write, “Things are as you would call it, status quo, consistent, constant, invariable, unaltered, unchanged, unfailing, uniform, unvarying.
“Pretty much what we are trying to say is: work is continuing and all is good in the Metallica hood. As soon as we do have something new to report, you will be the first to know of course!”
Sounds like they've chosen not to accept the advice of friend of the band Matt Sorum.
The Velvet Revolver drummer advised Lars Ulrich after hearing the "sick" demos for the album in July that they should "Master that shit and put it out".
