Snoop Dogg has been ordered to pick up litter after he pleased guilty to illegal possession of a dangerous weapon.
The US rapper, real name Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr, has also been told by a court that his 160 community service will include "everything from raking leaves to painting benches."
Snoop Dogg’s attorney, Donald Etra, said that the rapper has chosen an undisclosed park in Orange County in California to carry out his public service.
The rapper was arrested in September 2006 after authorities discovered a collapsible baton in his bags at John Wayne Airport.
Dogg had said initially that the baton was for use in one of his music videos.
The dates of the rapper's comminuty service will not be made public in order to prevent media intrusion.
