ShitDisco have been forced to pull yet more shows due to bass player Joel Stone’s continuing illness.
The Glasgow quartet last month pulled out of their US tour with Klaxons after Stone was forced to go to hospital with a mystery ailment.
Announcing the news via their Myspace page the band said that although Stone has no returned home they are unable to tour at the moment.
They wrote: “Joel is out of hospital and back on his feet, but we've had to cancel our shows on the Adventures In The Beetroot Field UK tour & our Spainish shows in Madrid, Bilbao & Santa Pola.
“He needs some rest and we need to get our heads together. He's been diagnosed with ‘Cyclical vomiting syndrome.’ Which seems fairly self expanatory, but at least it has a name now.
”We'll keep you updated. Sincere apologies to anyone who was coming to those gigs.”
The dates were:
Newcastle, Digital – October 17
London, Fabric – 18
Brighton, Digital – 19
Madrid, El Sol – 25
Bilbao, Antzokia – 26
Santa Pola, Camelot Club - 27
