Luciano Pavarotti will record a track for the b-side of their new single ‘Sometimes You Can’t Make It One Your Own’ reports DigitalSpy.

The two world famous acts first teamed up in 1996 when U2, going under the name Passengers, recorded Miss Sarajevo with Pavarotti.

They also collaborated in 2003 when frontman Bono accompanied the tenor for a rendition of 'Ave Maria' for the Pavarotti and Friends concert in Italy.
