Kid Harpoon Gives New EP A Paint Job

Kid Harpoon is to celebrate the release of his new EP by painting the covers of 1000 vinyl copies.

With the help of artist Neil, Harpoon will be decorating the 1000 blank vinyl covers so that when they are put side by side they will form the picture which adorns the CD version of the release, a photograph by Tom Beard.

The painting will take place at Rough Trade East in London this Friday and Saturday; all 1000 copies will be number and available to buy.

After the painting is finished on Saturday Kid Harpoon will be playing an Acoustic set before fans can purchase their vinyl of choice.

On the other side of the vinyl will be a word, dictated by which number of the 1000 it is, and when all the words are put together they will form “the story of Kid Harpoon”.

Kid Harpoon releases his 'First EP' on October 22.
