Manic Street Preachers have decided against giving their Christmas single a full release, because releasing it would be “too cheesy.”
The band have recorded the song but now admit that they’re more likely to give it away as a free download rather than put it in for the chart race.
Drummer Sean Moore told the Daily Star: "We wanted to put out a single for Christmas that was better than the usual X Factor shite."
"However, we were worried about looking like dickheadss so aren't going to make it an official release. We'll give it away on our website or something. It's just too cheesy."
