Bruce Springsteen has gone straight into number one in the US charts with his new album, ‘Magic.’
Repeating the success he had in the UK last month, Springsteen’s album sold 335,000 copies in the first week alone.
According to the sales company Neilson Soundscan, they are the singer’s best first week sales since his 2002 album, ‘The Rising’ - which sold 525,000 copies.
‘Magic’ becomes Springsteen’s eighth number one in America, with his previous chart topping albums including, ‘Born In The USA’ and ‘Tunnel Of Love.’
