Concert organisers Live Nation have promised disappointed fans that a rescheduling announcement will be made “as soon as information is possible”.
Sting, who yesterday topped a poll of ‘Worst Lyricists of All Time’ in Blender Magazine, reformed the multi-million selling band for a world tour in May after a 21-year hiatus.

- Have just heard that they have cancelled the 15th and 16th October gigs too due to Sting having a ’throat infection’........or, are they not getting on again!

- Manchester also cancelled , at 16.00 on the day before...you cannot canel hotel rooms and you need more notice...this is disgusting treatment of their fans

- absolute disgrace ,he will have known by friday that he throat wasnt up for it ,because its the 11th hour weve lost hotel fees ,train fees ,4 liu days from work roughly £400s worth thanks sting Ps good to see you didnt forget your roots sting by doing newcastle oh thats right your’e not ,obviously don’t give a monkeys about the fans i will not be going to rescheduled dates

- I came all the way from Montreal Canada to see them and have waited 24 years to do so... so so so disappointed! Did nobody tell him to put a suppository in?
