Moby has completed work on his new album, ‘Last Night,’ which is due for release in Spring 2008.
The album is the artists first studio album since 2005’s, ‘Hotel,’ and according to Moby it is “much more electronic and dance-oriented that my last three records.”
Speaking in more detail about the influences of the tracks on his website, Moby said that two songs are “big, piano-driven, rave anthems" while some are “atmospheric songs and some techno songs that sound like buildings falling down."
Today’s announcement coincides with the news that Moby is to open a new club night in New York.
‘Degenerates’ will take place at the Hiro Ballroom and gets underway on Thursday (October 11th) with a DJ set from Moby.
