Sir Paul McCartney and his estranged wife Heather Mills are expected to appear before a High Court judge later this week.
The pair will meet during a secret hearing on either Wednesday or Thursday in a bid to reach a divorce settlement.
According to the Mirror, both McCartney and Mills are trying to avoid a public hearing – which could be both expensive and damaging to their reputation.
Mills is reported to be in line for £25-£30million in the settlement, which would go towards the couple’s daughter, Beatrice.
As previously reported on Gigwise, McCartney picked up the Q Icon award at the Q awards in London yesterday (October 8th). McCartney used his speech to pay tribute to his first wife, Linda and his former Beatles bandmates.
