It seems that Harvey Goldsmith’s hatred for eBay is very deep indeed – in a fresh radio interview, he has now wished death upon the popular internet auction site.
Goldsmith is at the centre of a furore at the moment after announcing stringent measures to curb touting at the upcoming Led Zeppelin gig, by preventing people from entering the o2 Arena gig without a credit card matching the successful ballot sign-up name.
Acccording to The Guardian, in a Kerrang! Radio interview he blasted: “"I wish eBay would drop dead and die... I have begged them to take [the tickets] off and they have basically told us to **** off. So I will do everything I possibly can to ruin their lives."
His actions have caused outrage amongst some Led Zeppelin fans who claim he introduced the stringent policy after the results of the public ballot were announced.
It’s a debate that’s set to continue.

- i think there are thousands of fans right now that wish you dead harvey!
- I believe Harvey Goldsmith genuinely thought he would be keeping tickets out of the hands of touts when he came up with the lottery but it has backfired badly. I feel sorry for the genuine fans who have bought 2nd hand tickets and who may well have lost out. But to all the scumgbags who had no interest in going to the gig, and only registered so they could fleece the die hard fans, may you rot in hell you rat bastards.

- What an Idiot Harvey Goldsmith really is, as the poster above said, he should take a note out of Mr Eavis’s book who paved the way forward to stop touts getting access to huge events such as this.
