Hanson guitarist Isaac Hanson has had surgery to remove a potentially life threatening blood clot from his lungs.
As we told you yesterday, Isaac was rushed to hospital in Tulsa, Okalahoma after complaining of severe pains in his chest and shoulder.
The group’s spokesperson said that Isaac is suffering from Paget-Schroetter Syndrome and has gone under the knife to have the pulmonary embolism removed.
He is expected to make a full and relatively speedy recovery from the surgery. He may be out of hospital as soon as later today.
In the wake of the hospitalisation the band have cancelled a show in Missouri on top of the already axed Okalahoma gig.
