Primal Scream are ready to take a break from touring to concentrate on finishing their next album.
The band have spent much of recent months on the road, a stint that has seen them headline Bestival on the Isle of Wight. But now, frontman Bobby Gillespie says it’s time to knuckle down.
Speaking to BBC6music, he said of the follow up to Riot City Blues: “We're going to make a record now, and stop playing concerts 'till we release the record."
“We try and write good songs you know, it's going to be different from the last one, but we always change.
“We're very excited by the music that we're making, we love it."
