Arcade Fire are following Radiohead and getting in with this weeks vogue of cryptic news announcements.

The Canadians have set up a special website at www.beonlineb.com and plan to announce some currently secret missive this coming Saturday (October 6).

Fans on various forums have been speculating widely about what the announcement may be with ideas ranging from a video for ‘Black Mirror’ to a webcast of the bands New York show that day.

Another angle is that it may be a release of several rare tracks and B-side plus the announcement of a forthcoming live DVD.
