Paul Weller Defies Smoking Ban Twice At One Gig

Paul Weller could be hit with a fine after he flouted the smoking ban twice during one gig.

Weller was performing at London’s Astoria when he told fans whilst lighting his cigarette that, “This is the best drug known to man!"

Under the new regulations in the United Kingdom, if prosecuted, he could be hit with a £200 fine for breaking the law.

Mean Fiddler Limited, who own the Astoria, could also receive a £2,500 fine thanks to Weller’s actions.

Smoking has been banned in enclosed public places in England and Wales since July 1st.

He's just lucky that nothing went on fire 'From the Floorboards Up.'

People who took offense in Weller lighting up during the concert should consider getting a life... Buy a goldfish, become a plane spotter, do anything, but stop moaning about something as trivial as this. Instead, shouldn’t be wondering why Weller left the stage prematurely? Surely that was a lot more upsetting than Weller taking 3 drags from a cigarette.

The Guv’nor is always SMOKIN’ whether he’s got a fag on or not but the new anti-smoking law is an absolute heap of shite, all the whingeing fookers who have nothing else better to do other than complain should consider this: IF YOU DON’T LIKE IT,FOOK OFF!
