Sex Pistols bass player Glen Matlock has reportedly asked the rest of his band mates not to sewar during their upcoming reunion dates.
Matlock’s young son will be in the audience for several of the shows and apparently he has approached John Lydon about the issue.
However, Lydon doesn’t seem to have taken the plea to heart and insists that at least one song will include swearing.
He told Spin magazine: "He's been saying that all this swearing should stop. I understand he's a father and doesn't want his son to have to hear foul language."
"I wrote in Bodies, '**** this and **** that/**** it all, and **** the ****ing brat,' and I don't think there's a clearer song about the pain of abortion.
"The juxtaposition of all those different psychic things in your head and all the confusion, the anger, the frustration, you have to capture in those words."
