EMI have confirmed that they are still in talks with Radiohead about the future of the band with the label.
The news comes despite Radiohead’s announcement yesterday that they will release their next album ‘In Rainbows’ via their own website for as little as 1p next week.
A spokesman told Music Week: "Radiohead have always looked to experiment with new ways of working and we continue to discuss with them future plans."
It has also been revealed by a spokesman for the band that that the new album will get a full CD release next year.
They said: "Radiohead are currently planning a traditional CD release of In Rainbows for early 2008."
The album is currently only available via the download and in a special edition diskobox which costs £40 and features plenty of exclusive extras.
The download will be available on October 10 while the diskobox will be shipped on December 3 according to Radiohead’s official site.
