U2 frontman Bono has admitted to dishing out advice to new rock stars about how to stay ahead of the game.
The Irish rock star says that he has already doled out advice to The Killers and The Scissor Sisters. "I say some really basic things - like, if you go over and you tell Americans they're stupid, they're probably not going to come and see you.
"This is the sort of sh*t I'm talking about - it's just the ABC. I just tell people that as good as they think it is - the life - it's even better if you don't f**k up." He said to the Daily Star.
Bono went on to explain that he reminds homesick singers how lucky they are travelling to world and that they should learn to enjoy their lives. He added: "Going abroad is not crap. Waking up in Memphis, Tennessee, or where Stax was born, or where Elvis Presley cut 'Mystery Train' in Sun Studios or where Martin Luther King was shot dead is not crap."
