George Michael Admits To Drugs Problem

George Michael has admitted that his drug use is “a problem.”

The pop star says that he wants stop using marijuana as much as he is doing, but denies that it’s affecting his life in any way.

In the interview on BBC Radio 2’s Desert Island Discs, Michael said: "I'm a happy man and I can afford my marijuana so that's not a problem.”

He continued: "Absolutely I would like to take less, no question. To that degree, it's a problem."

Defending the drug, Michael also said that he feels the world would be a much better place if the drug was legalised.

Elsewhere in the interview, he called Amy Winehouse one of the best writers around and said he believes he has the strength to get through her troubles.

He said: "I wish her every success in the future. I know she can get past the media. I don't know if she can get past other things, but she's a fantastic talent and we should support her."
