In what could well be the strangest interview to ever take place Pete Doherty has reportedly met up with Sir Paul McCartney to question the Beatles legend.
The pair reportedly got together in London yesterday after Doherty was given leave from his Wiltshire rehab clinic.
A friend of Doherty’s told today’s Daily Mirror: They spoke about everything from music, other singers and even touched on the subject of women - but that was strictly between the two of them."
They added: "Macca has got a sense of fun, and was willing to give anything a try. He's a really supportive of young bands and finds Pete strangely interesting.
“Pete didn't sleep the night before the interview just thinking about what he'd say to the legend when they actually came face to face."
The interview is set to feature in the Observer Music Monthly.
