Kid Rock: 'Tommy Lee Is A Pain In The A*s'

Kid Rock has branded fellow rock star Tommy Lee a “pain in the ass.”

As previously reported, the two rock stars – who are both former husbands of the TV actress Pamela Anderson – got into an altercation at the MTV Video Music Awards in America earlier this month (September 9th).

It’s thought that Rock threw a punch at Lee after Lee had continually provoked him during the show.

Speaking about the incident, Rock explained that he did "what any man would have done" and that Tommy Lee was nothing but “a pain in the ass.”

Rock also told the Sun that he felt MTV had put them in the same room hoping that their would be confrontation. 

"MTV put the three of us in a room probably hoping something would happen, so they got what they wanted,” said Rock. “I came back from the bathroom and the guy was sitting pretty much in my seat.

"That was it,” he added. "I did the same thing any other man would have done."

Rock – real name Robert James Ritchie – will release his new album, ‘Rock N Roll Jesus,’ on October 1st.
