Kasabian's Tom Meighan Buys E.T. Bike!

Kasabian singer Tom Meighan has bought the famous BMX bike used by Elliot in the flying scene in the movie E.T.

The Leicester lad paid £10,000 for the unique piece of memorabilia which was part of one of the most famous film scene’s in Hollywood.

The frontman is apparently a huge fan of the film and had spent months haggling with the collector – who bizarrely also hails from Leicester.

To go with his purchase, Meighan  has ordered a life-size model of E.T. so that he can seemingly re-enact some of the film’s moments, reports The Sun.

Bids began at £2,000 for the Kuwahara BMX bike but soon escalated when interested parties placed their bids.
