Shitdisco have been forced to cancel their entire US tour after bass player Joel Stone was admitted to hospital.

Stone first came down with a mystery illness on Sunday after was rushed to hospital but was discharged the next day after a round of tests.

However, he was re-admitted on Tuesday with the same symptoms according to a post on the band’s myspace page.

They wrote: "This has happened before and every time the doctors have been unable to pin down the cause.

“In the past it has been written off as nervous exhaustion, but this time the doctors think there might be something else and they're trying to figure it out.

“He has been moved to another hospital and today underwent exploratory surgery."

All dates on the tour, including several with Klaxons, have now been postponed.
