Travis Do A Prince With Free Newspaper Giveaway

Travis are set to give away their next single ‘My Eyes’ away free with this weekend’s Mail on Sunday.

They follow in the footsteps of Prince who gave away his entire album ‘Planet Earth’ with the same scaremongering weekly rag earlier this summer.

To augment Travis’ package, the CD will also contain a number of their greatest hits.

The move is seemingly in a bid to boost Travis’ sales and earn the Scottish indie lightweights some much-needed cash. 

Sales of their latest effort ‘The Boy With No Name’ are tiny in comparison to previous best-sellers ‘The Man Who’ and ‘The Invisible Band.’ The album only reached number ten in the charts when it was released in May.
