Nickelback’s Chad Kroeger says that the MOR rock outfit are in no rush to release their new album.
The singer – who was charged from drink driving earlier in the summer - says they’re not even planning to hit the studio yet to record the follow up to 2005’s ‘All The Right Reasons’ which is still sitting pretty in the US chart after 102 weeks.
He explained to Billboard: "Everything is completely up in the air, and no one's in a hurry to do anything. We just finished up two years touring on this record, and we're all a little crispy."
In fact Kroeger says the band are planning to disappear from the scene for a little while, adding: "I think it's probably time for us to sort of fade into the shadows for a little bit and give everybody a little bit of a breather before we come out with our next stuff. An early return, in my opinion, would be a mistake."
