US rapper and producer Dr Dre has confirmed that his next album will be his last.
Due for release in 2008, ‘Detox,’ will be the rapper’s first album since the critically acclaimed, ‘2001.’
"I think it's time to move on," the rapper told the Los Angeles Times, adding that rapping was "a young man's game."
Following a public appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards earlier this month, Dre confirmed that he wouldn’t be rushed into finishing the album, adding that he’s going to spend the next two months working on Eminem’s latest project.
According to Billboard, Dr Dre signed a multi-year production agreement with New Line Cinema recently, which increases speculation that he will move into film following his hip-hop career.
