The Libertines Reveal 'Best Of' Album Artwork

The artwork for the forthcoming Libertines ‘best of’ album has been revealed.

The cover features one of the most infamous shots of the band - with all four members of the group dressed in their trademark red military jackets.

As we reported earlier, the band will release, ‘Time For Heroes – The Best Of The Libertines,’ on October 29th.

The LP will be the first new album from the band since 2004's, ‘The Libertines.’

Today’s news has already caused widespread debate on fan forums, with many fans unhappy with the albums tracklisting.

    • Best of!? They only had 2 albums! Both of those you can get for a fiver in the sales - just buy them for Christ’s sake!

    • OR! Buy neither, as The Libertines would be filed with The Others as a failed NME hype who never delivered anything, had Docherty not started shagging the tabloids...

    • The best thing Pete Doherty ever did was put his life in danger. Here’s hoping this album will fund an overdose.
