Scottish post-rock legends are set to put a bizarre item up for auction on eBay – their drummer’s old pacemaker.
Martin Bullock went under the knife earlier this week to get a new pacemaker fitted and the band came up with the ingenious idea to raise money for charity.
Frontman and oft band mouthpiece Stuart Braithwaite explain in a Myspace posting: “In the last few hours Martin got out of theatre after getting a new heart pacemaker fitted.
“As we did before we will be organizing an e-bay auction to sell his old pacemaker with the proceeds going to the British Heart Foundation. Details will follow shortly. Get well soon Martin!"
