The Automatic’s keyboardist and backing vocalist, Pennie, has today left the group after ‘growing apart from the band.’
The squealing energetic performer’s departure was announced on the bands official website.
The statement explained that Pennie “left due to finding the last year increasingly unenjoyable and growing apart from the rest of the band.”
The three remaining members of The Automatic – Rob Hawkins, James Frost and Iwan Griffiths – will continue on and are set to fly to America to start recording the follow up to their debut album ‘Not Accepted Anywhere'.
Pennie played his last gig with the band at the Get Loaded in the Park festival in August and the band are expected to announce more news very soon.
